Sag Tubi has recently installed an electrolytic galvanizing plant, with tanks for both zinc alkaline and zinc acid processes, employing only hexavalent chromium-free products. The passivation process is reinforced with sealant in order to obtain a resistance to salt spray testing of more than 500 hours before the appearance of red rust.
