Pipe warehouse
Covered storage of raw material (steel pipes).
Cutting
Every month Sag Tubi spa carries out 300,000 cutting and
automatic pipe-reaming operations using numerical-control
machines capable of effecting four different cuts contemporarily
in a single work cycle.
Bending
Sag Tubi spa is able to bend any component the customer might
request thanks to its highly skilled staff and a complete
range of numerical control pipe-bending machines. In addition,
it offers a production capacity of more than 250,000 pieces
per month and can machine any type of metal tube with diameter
from 4 to 90 mm. and thickness from 0.7 to 5 mm.
Shaping
Sag Tubi spa can process the pipe ends with any shaping method: drawing, tapering, widening, flaring JIC 37°/ 90°.
Turning
Sag Tubi spa is able to machine any type of cast, forged or
bar pipe fittings with hi-tech numerical control machines.
Degreasing and washing
In April 1997 an innovative plant became operative, that enables degreasing and washing in tanks with rotating baskets. This ensures a thorough cleaning of pipe interiors and a perfect exterior surface for painting.
Welding
Brazing - Besides employing the services of skilled sub-contracted
welders, in April 1999 Sag Tubi spa also opened a department
for controlled-atmosphere furnace brazing in order to improve
the quality of the components where an optimum soldering penetration
is required.
Electric welding - Since may 1998, Sag Tubi spa can rely on
a 6-axis robot that electrically welds frame parts, cabins
and bodywork accessories.
Painting
The new plant was built in line with the current regulations in force and the new products do not contain any chromium and lead pigments. This means we provide top quality painting, conceived to protect the environment and ensure safety in the workplace.
Finishing
Special cutting operations, milling, drilling, beading, etc. are carried out in this department.
Packaging
All products are adequately sealed and packed, also by means of automatic machines.
Finished product warehouse
After a thorough control of the finished product all the pieces are packed and labelled for dispatch.
Shipments
Most shipments to italian clients are carried out by our own vehicles.
